During the present championship campaign, they have appeared together in 21 games (always as starters), scoring 42 times, more than half of the team's goals so far in the competition.
On matchday one of La Liga, Real Madrid beat Córdoba 2-0 in the Santiago Bernabéu, with the BBC on the pitch and Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo getting on the scoresheet. Since that day, they have racked up 15 wins in the competition to date.
