Real appeals CR7's sanction

Real Madrid have appealed against the yellow card that Cristiano Ronaldo was given in the game against Rayo Vallecano.

In the 51st minute of the match, the Real forward was given a yellow by the referee for diving inside the area. However, according to Real, the footage of the incident clearly shows that the player was brought down by the Rayo defender.

If the appeal is rejected, Ronaldo will have to sit out the game against Eibar this weekend.
